Dr. Helen Arabatzis

Dr Helen Arabatzis graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1998. For the past 16 years, Dr Arabatzis has been mentoring and working alongside a team of practitioners including 8 dentists, 4 hygienists and a visiting oral surgeon; centered in the vibrant and busy inner-Melbourne suburb of Brunswick.
Dr Arabatzis has a special interest in Implantology and completed Surgical Level 1, 2 and 3 with The Australasian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2001. She received further training in the field in both the surgical and restorative aspects of the treatment, as well as in Soft Tissue Management through Nobel Biocare and the Aesculap Academy at the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
In 2006, Dr Arabatzis completed her training in NobelGuide with Dr Patrick Henry in Auckland and THEN undertook a mini residency in Implant Dentistry at the Brånemark Training Centre in Marseilles, France under the supervision of Dr Patrick Palacci in 2008. She has also completed training of Modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 through Implant Team Academy.
In 2009 Dr Arabatzis was a Nobel Biocare presenter for the Hands on Implant Surgical Restorative Mentor program. By this time, she has built her experience in Dental Implants and decided to enhance her skills by completing a Masters program in Implant Dentistry with the GIDE institute at University of California Los Angeles. She is now part of the alumni group in UCLA with the mentorship of Dr. Sascha Jovanovich.
Having consolidated her knowledge and skills in oral implantology, Dr Arabatzis was drawn to the immediacy and success of the All-On-4 and All-On-4-Plus concepts, and undertook further advanced training under the mentorship of Dr Alex Fibishenko. Today, she continues to work in a team with Dr Fibishenko with cases involving immediate full arch replacement.
Dr Arabatzis is an active member of Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS), Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) and International Team for Implantology (ITI) with a special interest in facial aesthetics and has broadened her expertise by becoming a member of the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA) with an interest in the cutting edge advances of Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers to enhance the complete dentoalveolar and facial aesthetics.
